This Syracuse raised ranch was built in the 1960s and still had its original three-lite living room window, a fixed picture window flanked by two deadlight panes. One of the panes had a visible crack, and the frames had the kind of gaps you’d expect after decades of Central New York winters.
We replaced the full unit with a new vinyl three-lite window in the same configuration: picture window in the center, fixed deadlight panes on either side, so the room keeps its wide, open view. The new frames seal tightly against the wind coming off the street-facing side of the house, and the homeowner won’t be dealing with drafts or a cracked pane heading into this winter.
